Artist Statement

Through my photographs, I aim to capture my subjects in a unique and exploring way. Whether that be through the use of cubism in my photo-collages to give viewers a new way of looking at what would be a flat subject, or by simple highlighting the normally passed-over beauties in nature, I create elaborate scenes with what is available to me.
I strive on complex processes and labor intensive projects that will yield the greatest sense of satisfaction. By offering alternative ways of looking at nature, I hope to demonstrate the aesthetic quality of the world around us.
